Missing Tooth!

Stephanie was reading today and her tooth popped out!!! Congratulations Stephanie! We are thankful it wasn't too messy and she is still sporting her pretty smile!

ATTENTION PARENTS:
1. Please return PINK forms regarding helping out in 3rd grade.
2.  Send in your picture form and insurance form (even if you are choosing to say no).
3. Wet-n-Wild papers must be turned in by THURSDAY!
4. Please be sure to sign your child's bright yellow homework sheet this evening. I am trying to get assignment notebooks for the students, but for now please initial their papers.

Today we...

Today we measured a tree outside for Science. We were watching a video about a chick hatching from an egg. I love Third grade!           ~Janae~

And we're off...

We had a great first day here in third grade. We did quite a few "get to know you"
activities, went over our class procedures and took a tour of our school. The students also finished their "Beach Balls-Books of Summer" to hang up on our bulletin board.

I tried to get a picture of where the kids are seated so you can picture them throughout the day. They even got some "reading on the beach" in today!

Thanks for a GREAT first day! Just a reminder (our printer broke down, so I will send some papers home tomorrow):

1. Empty out your folder and bring it back tomorrow for some Herr's Bucks!

2. Remember a Fruit Break Snack

3. If you have friends or family in the military, bring in a picture.

Hello 3rd graders and parents! Hope you are enjoying your last couple evenings of summer. Just a reminder that I am looking forward to seeing you at OPEN HOUSE tomorrow night.
