Belated Birthday Celebrations!!!

A LOT has happened since our last post! I think we have the difficulties figured out! I will do my best to get all of the updates up for you to see!

To start we celebrated the lives to two VERY SPECIAL people:

ANNA HECK

(February 13th)

We love the JOY and CREATIVITY you bring to our class. Your LAUGHTER and EXCITEMENT are contagious! Praying God uses that JOY to encourage many people!

 

She brought in YUMMY dirt pudding dessert! Delish!

Another great life we celebrated was...

JOHN OECHSLIN

(February 25th)

Our class would not be the same without your INSIGHT and DETAIL. We love your ENTHUSIASM and HUMOR. Praying that Jesus will use your gifts to reach others for HIS kingdom!

He also brought in some AMAZING brownies! :-)

Happy birthday Anna and John! I am SO SO glad the Lord allowed me to be your teacher this year!

On Friday we celebrated John's birthday.  We had brownies, they were good!

During the week we had music, but the lights were off and the teacher wasn't there. (It was like a mystery.) We got cool hats at Weis markets. ( We were on a mystery tour. ) We got a lot of stuff. We learned even if something looks like Chocolate Milk, it might not be.

Monday, Mrs. Herr gave us two cookies while we were doing Handwriting. Tuesday, we had Chapel and watched a video. Some people got awards for perfect attendance. We also had gym on Tuesday. We had several obstacle courses all having to do with basketball and dribbling. We each had a partner from the class to do it with. Every few minutes we would rotate to a different station. The next day, we continued to learn about Joseph in Bible. On Friday, we celebrated Anna's birthday. We had dirt pudding. It was so fun!

We're doing class maps. We have to color them and mark distances for two objects. We're doing basketball in gym. We learned the bounce, chest, overhead, and the baseball pass.

Saying Goodbye to Steven

I am currently have some technical difficulties with uploading pictures. I PROMISE to try and get the rest of the party pictures up this weekend. Here is one to hold you over.

We decided to have a going away party for Steven last Wednesday just in case we were not at school on Thursday. I guess it was a good idea (even though we missed some of our classmates!) because we were not in school on his last day. We sure do miss Steven!

On Wednesday we had a party for Steven because he was leaving. At the party we had seven people and we ate chocolate chip cookie cake with frosting. Steven got a t-shirt that had everyone at the Constitution Center on it and we all signed it. He also got a soccer t shirt. On Friday Mrs.Redcay came to subsitute for Mrs.Herr.
